The natural beauty of Toporowa Cyrhla

The unquestionable advantage of this property is its location – in the highest situated district of Zakopane, far from the hustle and bustle of the busy Krupówki Street. Toporowa Cyrhla is quiet and located at the edge of a forest – this means you don’t have to get into your car if you want to take a walk in the mountains. This is quite a unique benefit when Zakopane is brought to a stillstand with traffic jams. In the past, Cyrhla was a small housing estate with pastures and meadows, where crocuses bloomed abundantly in spring. The first part of the estate’s name comes from the last name of the former owners of the place: Topór, while the word Cyrhla is derived from the Polish name for the incandescent method of harvesting forest clearings that was popular in the Carpathian Mountains.

Construction technology

A house made of flat wooden logs is warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and becomes more and more unique with age. The flat wooden log walls accumulate heat and regulate humidity. To be sure, we insulate them inside with wool and secure them with mossing and 30 cm boards. In a few years, the wood will work naturally, acquiring a unique shade of brown as a result. These homes’ modest shapes conceal rich interiors: a living room with a tall kitchen and a view of the terrace and the lake through the aluminum window frame. Maintaining these luxuries is extremely affordable, as the house is powered from underneath by a heat pump, and by the sun’s rays via the photovoltaics on the roof. You’re buying an apartment that will be ready to move into – with finished floors, bathrooms, kitchen and terrace… and the attractive furniture we selected.

We want to provide our future Guests with a level of comfort that’s comparable to that of boutique hotels. A few weeks prior to their arrival, we will offer a plan of attractions tailored to their individual needs – a hiking trip with a guide or cross-country skiing classes with a Polish Olympian. We will take care of everything in an effort to ensure that our Guests will spend their holidays in a truly special way, and… will want to come back for more as soon as possible. With us, there’s no way you can get bored!
